Interactive Channels Media builds Interactive Ambient channels — ambient streams built around a real script, a live game or a story, that drives backgrounds, fish, and actor fish reacting to each event. Chat keeps it alive alongside the show: viewers toss in themed items and trigger reactions, instead of watching a passive background loop.
Our own Interactive Channels channels are the live proof of concept — Stories (@interactivechannels) and Sports (@interactivechannelssports). On them we run Reef Network — our series of aquarium shows, built on the exact engine we license to brands, sell sponsor placements on, and rent out for private events. The aquarium is the theme we chose for the demo; your channel can be anything.
Why I built this
I've always loved ambient channels, storytelling, and sports. To me, aquariums have been the best screensaver since early Windows — I've just always liked having one going. At some point I started wondering: what would a real aquarium look like filling an 80-inch TV?
With a software background, the next question was obvious — could I hook that aquarium up to a live YouTube stream and actually interact with it from chat, and have fun doing it? That question became Interactive Channels Media: ambient, story-driven screens that follow a real script — a live game, a story — and the people watching get to react and have fun with what's happening.
What we do

- Sell timed on-screen sponsor placements on our own live streams
- Stand up a private, themed interactive channel for a single event — parties, launches, watch parties — with light customization and a private link
